G.U.M.B.O
Get Up & Move Your Butt Operation, otherwise known as G.U.M.B.O. is an exciting new outdoor fitness program that runs 3 sessions per week, 60 minutes per session. Conducted at Buffalo Run on Saturdays & Blue Ridge Park, Tuesday & Thursday. Workouts include cardio, endurance, resistance, balance, flexibility and strength training.
Fitness assessments and measurements will be performed at the beginning and end of the program.
The Details:
- You will need: cross training or running shoes, a mat, towel, water, a pair of dumbbells (3 - 5 lbs. for women; 8 - 10 lbs. for men), comfortable clothing and sunscreen.
- The cost is $250 and if you bring a friend they can train for just $200. We accept Cash, Check or Credit Card.
- 6-Week, 3 Sessions/Week
- Tuesday & Thursday – 6:00 p.m. and Saturday – 7:00 a.m.

A Routine That Works:
- Developing lean muscle kicks your metabolism into high gear and creates a calorie burning machine.
- Eat 5-6 small meals a day. Eat a small breakfast within an hour after waking up.
- Drink 6-8 glasses of water a day.
- Get plenty of rest.
What Else You Will Learn:
- Cardio or aerobic exercise is a must. You have to burn the fat so you can see the muscle.
- Strength or Resistance Training: You should train each muscle between 1 and 3 times a week.
- Flexibility. You must stretch after warming up and after your workout. This will reduce soreness.
